1896 'The Golf Book of East Lothian' Book by John Kerr


Offered here is seldom seen collectible from the 19th century, the 1896 'The Golf Book of East Lothian' by John Kerr, a detailed book of text and illustrations collected by Kerr about the golf courses and clubs of East Lothian. This vintage golf book was compiled and edited by John Kerr, M.A., F.R.S.E., F.S.A. SCot., Minister of Dirleton. Edinburgh, printed by T. and A. Constable. 1896. The book shows minor wear along the borders of the cover, as is to be expected for a publication dated back to the 1890s. The inscription from the previous owner reads "To Mrs. James Robertson, with all good wishes, October 5, '96."
