1899 USGA Women's Amateur Championship at Philadelphia CC Badge - Rare


The USGA Women's Amateur started in 1895 and in 1899, the 5th annual installment saw Ruth Underhill claim the title 2 & 1 over Margaret Fox at the Philadelphia Country Club. Offered here is a rarely seen ticket to that tournament that has managed to withstand the test of time. It comes in good condition with wear to the front and a diagonal crease. The original string is attached and the ticket reads as follows:
