Offered here is an original sports wire photograph of Bobby Jones and Alex Smith playing in the 1925 U.S. Open Championship qualifier at Lido Country Club on Long Beach, NY. Jones would go on to finish second in the US Open that year. The photo measures 8" x 10".
Lido Country Club ceased to exist as a golf venue after the second World War, a picturesque venue that was a well-rounded portfolio containing holes from each of the great course design visionaries.
