1929 The Open Championship at Muirfield Program - Walter Hagen Winner - Last Major Title
Muirfield in 1929 was the site of Walter Hagen's second consecutive Open victory. Walter Hagen successfully defended his 1928 title, six strokes ahead of runner-up Johnny Farrell. It was Hagen's fourth win at the Open and his eleventh and final major title. At age 36, Hagen played the tournament just twice more in 1933 and 1937. Six-time champion Harry Vardon, age 59, played the Open for the final time and missed the cut. Pages are intact and presents great for 85+ year program
