One of the most desirable releases in the continuously growing golf card market came nearly 90 years ago - technically not even a golf card. Here is Babe Mildred Didrickson's 1933 Sport Kings track card. It was originally distributed with gum, making the packs irresistible to their then young target market. The Sport Kings set contained just that, athletes from across the world of sport. A set that included football's Jim Thorpe, baseball's Babe Ruth, as well as fellow golfers Bobby Jones, Gene Sarazen and Walter Hagen unsurprisingly garners significant interest in the hobby. Didrickson had just won the gold medal at the 1932 Olympics, with track one of the numerous sports that The Babe excelled in. This card features the endlessly athletic Didrickson in a hurdling pose with her hands up on a orange background looking over a track scene silhouette in the foreground. This nearly century old card was encapsulated for valuation, presentation and preservation by PSA and assigned a Very Good 3.
