1935 US Open at Oakmont C.C. Program Signed by Winner Sam Parks Jr.

Offered here is seldom seen official program for the 1935 U. S. Open Golf Championship held at historic Oakmont Country Club, and it is signed by winner Sam Parks Jr. A Pittsburgh native, Parks knew his way around the Oakmont course better than most, and proved it on his way to victory. Winning by 2 strokes was no easy task on the daunting course, finishing out with a final stroke total of 299, only 2 strokes ahead of Jimmy Thompson. It is signed on the cover by Parks himself with James Spence Authentication (JSA) reviewing the autograph and providing authenticity papers with this lot. Piece of 1" tape present on cover to this VG/EX condition. This great piece of US Open and Oakmont history is certainly going to add to any collection.

Please note: This auction will end at 7:00pm EST on November 22nd with extended bidding to follow. All items in the auction will remain open until no items have received a bid within a 15 minute time period. All lots are free to be bid on until extended bidding has ended
