1935 Wire Photos: Nelson & Runyan After 1st Round & Runyan, Wood, & Hunter Photo

Here we have two 8" x 11" wire photographs from 1935.
The first photo shows Byron Nelson and Paul Runyan tied after the first round at a tournament. Nelson was still waiting to win his first Major in 1935, Runyan having won the PGA Championship the year before.
The second photograph shows Craig Wood, Paul Runyan, and Willie Hunter post-swing at the 1935 US Open. The caption lists them as contenders to watch at the tournament, though only Runyan managed a tie for 10th place, the young Sam Parks Jr claiming his lone Major.

Please note: This auction will end at 7:00pm EST on Sunday, June 18th, with EXTENDED BIDDING to follow. All items in the auction will remain open until no items have received a bid within a 15 minute time period. All lots are free to be bid on until extended bidding has ended
