1936 Augusta National Invitation Tournament Program/ Pairings Sheet Only 1 Known!

This one page Pairings sheet and program is in near perfect condition on the front and shows a few spots where glue might have attached the program to a scrapbook. We have never seen another 1936 official Augusta National Invitational  program, making this a truely rare collectible that every Masters Program collector needs to fillout the collection. We use the word program loosely as it is titled that on the sheet, but it is closer to what we now think of as a Pairings sheet. Masters programs were made in 1934 and 1935 but consisted of many pages of advertising that members had to beg local businesses to purchase. In 1936 it looks like the members got tired of the begging and produced a one page program pictured here. This Program has to be super rare in this condition as adverse weather was the norm at the 1936 event with Thursday's and Sundays play being postponed, so keeping a single sheet of paper in good condition would have been very difficult. 1934 and 1935  programs sell for $10-16,000 and many of these have surfaced in the hobby. This program is much simpler then the earlier examples, but much much more rare. ONLY ONE KNOWN!

Session 1: Lots 1-500 will end on 4/11/13 and Session 2 Lots 500+ will end on 4/14/13 with extended bidding to start at 9:00 PM EST for both sessions. In order to bid in extended bidding you must place a bid on the lot before 9pm on auction closing day.
