Made out of brass this unique looking U.S. Open badge measures (2 by 2 1/2 inches). Etched into the brass plate are four golf clubs, a ball, the depiction of the clubhouse and writing "CHERRY HILLS CLUB DENVER, COLO. 42ND OPEN CHAMPIONSHIP U.S.G.A. SEASON TICKET JUNE 4-11,-1938 along with the badge holders #683).Reverse is blank backed with the exception of it's original safety pin backed fastener A seldom scene item of U.S. Open memorabilia.
