1939 PGA Championship at Pomonok Country Club Monday Ticket #669 - Picard Winner
The champion in the 1939 PGA Championship was Henry Picard who won the final match on the first hole of overtime with a birdie to defeat Byron Nelson. One of the best PGA players of the 1930's, Picard's win at the '39 PGA along with his 1938 Masters triumph were part of a 30 plus win career for the Hall of Famer known as the Hershey Hurricane. Ticket has original string and is in excellent condition. The "Invest In Golf" backside can also be found on select Masters tickets of the time-period.
