1941 Empire Day Golf Tournament Maple Leaf Fund Medal with Frayed Red, White, & Blue Ribbon
The Empire Day Golf Tournament also know as Birdies for Britain supported the Maple Leaf Fund. This "fund" collected donations and that were used to furnish medical aid and relief to the bombed areas in Britain. This 10k gold filled medal is in good vintage condition, with some fraying on the medal's ribbon. 1 1/2" diameter

All items that have received multiple bids in the auction will remain open until no items have received a bid within a 15 minute time period (at 10pm EST, the countdown clock will be adjusted to a 5 minute interval). 1. You must place your initial bids BEFORE extended bidding begins in order to bid on the item in extended bidding
2. During extended bidding, you are allowed to bid only on items you PREVIOUSLY placed a bid on.
