1941 Original 8x10 Photo of Bobby Jones and Walter Hagen - Fighting Over Ryder Cup - Rare. This photo is one we have not seen before, very crisp and detailed and showing personality form two of golfs legends. During the war with Ryder Cup competition put on hold, exhibition matches brought together the greatest players of the era, including amateur Bobby Jones, who led his team to an 8½-6½ upset of the Walter Hagen led Ryder Cup Team, Aug. 23-24, 1941, at Detroit Golf Club. Scrapbook remnants on back of photo.
Session 1: Lots 1-500 will end on 4/11/13 and Session 2 Lots 500+ will end on 4/14/13 with extended bidding to start at 9:00 PM EST for both sessions. In order to bid in extended bidding you must place a bid on the lot before 9pm on auction closing day.
