1941 Press Photo Sam Snead Tees Off In The War Years Ryder Cup at Detroit Golf Club
"Slammin Sam" Sam Snead won 7 Major Tournaments, including 3 Masters in 1949, 1952, and 1954; the British Open in 1946; and PGA Championships in 1942, 1949, and 1951. He had 82 tour victories, with an estimated 160 professional victories in all.
