1945 PGA Championship at Morraine CC Contestant Badge - Byron Nelson Winner
The 27th PGA Championship was held at Moraine CC, a top 100 classic golf course and was won by PGA super star Byron Nelson 4&3 over Sam Byrd, a former major league baseball player. This event was one of 11 in a row that Nelson won in his historic year that included 18 victories and seven runner-ups in 30 total tournaments. This celluloid badge is 1 3/4" in diameter and features gold lettering on the blue background. It comes in excellent condition.
