1947 Hardscrabble Championship Stranahan's Winners Sterling Pitcher

This 1947 match play event was contested in Fort Smith, Arkansas. In the 36 hole finale, Frank Stranahan was a 6 and 5 winner over Tom Stephenson of Kansas City. For his victory in this event Stranahan received a large sterling pitcher with engraving: Hardscrabble - 1947 - Championship - Won By - Frank Stranahan

Bottom inscription reads: Gorham Sterling 024 - 4 1/2 Pint.

8 1/4" tall and 9" width from handle to spout. 4 3/4" diameter.

A portion of the Frank Stranahan collection proceeds will be donated to The First Tee of Lake Erie.
