1947 US Open at St. Louis CC Final Round Saturday Ticket #725 - Lew Worsham Winner

Lew Worsham was the champion of the 1947 US Open at the St. Louis Country Club. His playoff victory over Sam Snead was most likely the most disappointing of Snead's long run of sorrows at his country's Open Championships. Featured is a final round ticket for the 47th Open Championship. The United States Golf Association produced ticket is secured in a case and displays as an appreciated collectible. Some creasing, mostly visible from the back side. See photographs. Visually attractive with original string still intact.

Please note: This auction will end at 5:00pm EST Sunday, November 18th, with EXTENDED BIDDING to follow. There is a buyer's premium of 17.5% for all items. All lots are free to be bid on until extended bidding has ended.
