1948 'Championship Golf' Book by Mildred Didrikson Zaharias
The larger-than-life athlete Babe Zaharias excelled in the sport of golf, as well as basketball, baseball and won two gold and a silver medal in the 1932 Olympics in track and field competitions. She passed away at the young age of 45 in 1956, leaving a legacy that will live on in golf for generations. During her golfing career Babe Zaharias was victorious an astounding 41 times on the LPGA tour, with 10 of those being major victories.
