1949 Masters Spectator Guide - Sam Snead's First Masters Win
1949 was the first year the Masters Tournament issued the spectator guides. Sam Snead was five strokes behind the leader entering the weekend rounds, until posting back-to-back rounds of 67 and going on to win the tournament by 3 strokes over Lloyd Mangrum and Johnny Bulla. The spectator guide offered here shows some stains to the front and back cover, '1949' written on the front cover in pen, what appears to be tape and residue inside the back cover, and some rusting is apparent on the staples at the spine. Even with some blemishes, this example presents in great condition for this hard to find guide.
