1949 Masters Sunday Pairing Sheet - Sam Snead Winner
Whoever originally held this 1949 Masters Sunday pairing sheet was unaware that Sam Snead was about to match his Saturday round of 67 to go on to win his first Masters Tournament. Sam Snead was five strokes behind the leader entering the weekend rounds until posting back-to-back rounds of 67 to go on to win the tournament by three strokes over Lloyd Mangrum and Johnny Bulla. This was Snead's first win at Augusta National Golf Club, but wouldn't be his last. He would later win the Masters in 1952 and 1954 for three of his seven career major championships. This 1949 Masters Sunday pairing sheet is in fair condition. There is discoloration present on the sheet, and creases are present. See photos for more details on condition.
Please note: This auction will end at 7:00pm EST on Sunday, October 2nd with EXTENDED BIDDING to follow. All items in the auction will remain open until no items have received a bid within a 15 minute time period. All lots are free to be bid on until extended bidding has ended
