Offered here is a 1949 U.S. Womens Open Championship Sunday ticket in excellent condition. This was the fourth ever held Womens Open, and was won by an amazing 14 strokes by the Hall of Famer Louise Suggs. She has signed this ticket in ink on the front. On the reverse of the ticket an unknown third autograph joins the signature in ink of the legendary female athlete Babe Zaharis. The combo of Suggs and Zaharias dominated Womens Golf in the late forties and early fifties. The pair won five of seven U.S Opens between 1948-54, Suggs 1949&52 and Zaharias 1948,50,54. Zaharias died tragically at the height of her greatness in 1956. James Spence Authentication provides a Letter of Authenticity for the Suggs and Zaharias autographs.
