1951 Masters Tournament Fourth Round Sunday Ticket #5831 - Ben Hogan Winner - Top Condition

Here we have a Sunday ticket #5831 from the 1951 Masters. When play began that Sunday, Ben Hogan found himself down by one stroke to Skee Riegel and Sam Snead. Hogan shot a final round of 68 to overtake Riegel by two strokes and claim his first Masters victory. Hogan had previously finished second twice at the Masters before claiming his long awaited title. This example comes in incredibly near mint condition, with crisp corners and the original string intact. There will never be a need to upgrade this one. Only the third '51 ticket The Golf Auction has had the pleasure of presenting in ten years. One of the most difficult of post World War II tickets to find for the Masters, combine it with Hogan's first Masters win and it is easy to see why this one is so desirable for collectors.
