1951 Western Open Championship Program Signed by Marty Furgol

Marty Furgol had his breakthrough season in 1951 when he one early in the year at the Houston Open defeating future Hall of Famer Jack Burke in his own backyard of Houston by one stroke. The excellent condition program offered in this lot comes from Furgol's second win of the '51 season at the Western Open. It was another one stroke win, and again over a future Hall of Famer in Cary Middlecoff. If you do not have a signature of the 1955 Ryder Cup member, Furgol, this lot with it's beautiful blue cover and white golf ball form the perfect backdrop to the black sharpie signature of Furgol.
James Spence Authentication (JSA) has reviewed the signature and their auction letter of authenticity will come with this lot.

Please note: This auction will end at 7:00pm EST on Sunday, June 18th, with EXTENDED BIDDING to follow. All items in the auction will remain open until no items have received a bid within a 15 minute time period. All lots are free to be bid on until extended bidding has ended
