1952 All America's Cup Sterling Silver Cigar Box
On August 14-15, 1952 golf matches between Canada, Mexico and the United States were played in Seattle. For representing the United States in these matches Frank Stranahan received the exquisite silver cigar box offered in this lot.
Front left inscription reads: Royal Canadian Golf Association - Asociacion Mexicana De Golf - United States Golf Association.
Front right inscription reads: 1952 - Seattle Golf Club - Seattle Washington, U.S.A. - August 14-15 - Frank Stranahan.
Bottom reads: Hecho En Mexico - Sterling 925 and Plata Villa - Insurgentes No27.
