It had to be obvious to Wheaties marketing pros in 1951/52 when they were planning their set of golfers that Ben Hogan would be included in the 1952 set of 12 cards. This campaign was on the heels of the Hogan saga being brought to life in the acclaimed movie,"Follow the Sun: The Ben Hogan Story". Not to mention Hogan won three of the five events (Masters U.S. Open and World Championship of Golf) he entered in 1951. The action Wheaties 1952 Card shows the swing of "The Greatest Ball Striker of All-Time", and has been slabbed in a GAI holder. The card offered features a rounded blue border.

As an added level of comfort on this valuable autographed Hogan card, James Spence Authentication has also reviewed this signature and their letter of authenticity will also come with this lot.
