1952 St. Paul Open Program Signed by Lawson Little

The St. Paul Open was a PGA Tour stop from 1930-1969, the vast majority of the time held at Keller Golf Course. Offered here is a program from the 1952 St. Paul Open won by Cary Middlecoff. Lawson Little has signed the cover of this program in blue ink. Little was better known for his amateur career, twice having won both the US and British Amateur Opens in what was known at the "Little Slam." The programs itself presents in very good condition, with slight rust at the spine from the staples. Little won the 1940 United States Open. He passed away in 1968 at the age of 57. He was elected into the World Golf Hall of Fame in 1980, and remains one of the more challenging of modern era golf autographs.
James Spence Authentication (JSA) has reviewed the signature and their auction letter of authenticity will come with this lot.
