1953 Newsweek Presents Hole-by-Hole Pictorial Description of Oakmont CC Fold Out Booklet
The 1953 season marked Hogan's most dominant year of his career. His victory in the 1953 US Open was also dominant, with Hogan firing an opening round 67 to establish a lead he held from start-to-finish as the only player to better par for the 72 holes (-5) posting a six shot win over second-place finisher Sam Snead. The win at Oakmont Country Club in 1953 marked Hogan's fourth and final US Open triumph. Here we have a booklet by Newsweek that shows the course lay out of Oakmont. Excellent condition and ready to display.
