1957 US Amateur Championship at The Country Club Brookline Official Program - Hillman Robbins Jr. Winner
In 1957, as a lieutenant on leave from the Air Force, Hillman Robbins won the United States Amateur Championship. His victum in the final was Dr. Frank M. Taylor, 5 and 4. The excellent condition program from those matches as published by the U.S.G.A. is available in this lot. Of note on this publication is the back cover advertisement for Sports Illustrated which depicts the famous Ben Hogan cover magazine from its "Lessons" series of issues.
