1958 Masters Tournament Series Ticket #5457 - Palmer's 1st Masters Victory
In the collecting of Masters paper badge run it is always a plus to acquire series tickets which enabled the patron to attend all days of the event. In this case the practice rounds and tournament days which ran from March 30 to April 6, 1958. The flip side of the coin with series tickets is that they often suffer condition problems due to use on several days and the placement and removal of the item for entrance on a daily basis to the Augusta National. The 1958 series ticket for week long access to what was finally becoming a very desirable destination with Arnold Palmer's ascent to the crown that year. Original string intact. Paper loss on front bottom center and left middle center, same loss present at same locations on reverse. Creasing across front middle from left to right, same crease on reverse. Those are the negatives presented for accuracy. The overriding plus is that it is a very reasonable priced seldom seen series ticket for the start of the Palmer era.
