1959 Masters Badge-Series Ticket

In the collecting of Masters paper badge run it is always a plus to acquire series tickets which enabled the patron to attend all days of the event. In this case the practice rounds and tournament days which ran from March 29 to April 5, 1959. The flip side of the coin with series tickets is that they often suffer condition problems due to use on several days and the placement and removal of the item for entrance on a daily basis to the Augusta National. This example ticket #5712 does not suffer from those problems with strong corners and surface intact on both front and reverse. It does however only have a slight amount of the original string attachment in place and does have four areas of staining on front and back. All told this example has far more pluses then minuses. A series ticket for week long access to what was finally becoming a very desirable destination, Augusta in the Spring attending the Masters Tournament.

Session 1: Lots 1-500 will end on 4/11/13 and Session 2 Lots 500+ will end on 4/14/13 with extended bidding to start at 9:00 PM EST for both sessions. In order to bid in extended bidding you must place a bid on the lot before 9pm on auction closing day.
