1962 Masters Tournament Contestant Badge #7 - Lloyd Mangrum
Check your 1962 pairing sheet for player number 7, your findings will lead you to the Purple Heart recipient with movie-star good looks Lloyd Mangrum! It was the Tournament's first 3-way playoff, but Arnie would prove to be too much and captured another even year victorious run in Augusta. With only 109 contestants appearing in the 1962 Masters, this red and white 1 1/4" x 1 1/2" celluloid shield is highly elusive to Masters collectors - the toughest of all credentials and especially that year. With badge #1 going to the past years champion each badge is then issued according to when the player shows up for the Masters and registers for the tournament. In 1962, Mangrum received the single digit #7 only 6 players after Gary Player. With original pin still in place, this contestants pins memorable Augusta National design packs a big punch in the way of Masters collectables - once pinned on Lloyd Mangrum for the entirety of Arnold Palmer's third of four wins.

AUCTION CLOSING RULES:
Place your bids NOW, don’t wait until the last minute. The auction will close beginning at 10:00pm ET Sunday, June 18th. You must agree to the terms BEFORE confirming your initial bid. During extended bidding, each lot will have its own 30-minute countdown clock. The clock will extend 30-minutes from the time of the most recently placed bid for that lot. If no bids are placed on that lot for a 30-minute period, the lot will close. Place your bids now!
1. Place your initial bids BEFORE 10pm ET in order to bid on the item in extended bidding
2. During extended bidding, you may bid only on items you PREVIOUSLY placed a bid on.
3. Lots with only ONE or NO BIDS will close at 10pm ET
Extended bidding starts at 10pm ET, and each lot will begin closing with its own 30-minute countdown timer. Lots without a bid placed during extended bidding will close at 10:30pm ET. We recommend you place your maximum bid(s) prior to that time. Thank you
