1962 US Open Friday Ticket which Featured Palmer and Nicklaus at Oakmont C.C.

Vibrant color still remains on this Grounds Ticket. It does however show some surface damage on the front of this 2 1/8" x 5 1/4" spectators admission. The original string is still attached for the second round ticket of the 1962 U.S. Open played at Oakmont just outside Pittsburgh, Pa. This '62 Open was the emergence of Jack Nicklaus on the National pro scene as he outdualed local hero Arnold Palmer to claim his first win and first of 18 Major titles.

In order to bid in extended bidding you must place a bid on the lot before 9pm on auction closing day. The Golf Auction's Exclusive June Auction will end on June 15th, 2014 at 9:00pm EST with extended bidding to follow. Get your bids in before the session ends. If your bid is not placed before 9pm, you will not have the opportunity to win the lot.
