1963 Masters Tournament SERIES Badge #12316 - Jack Nicklaus Winner
The skyrocketing ticket category has been propelled by first's, including first starts, wins and records. Because of this it was unsurprising that the example we had in our 2022 April Auction achieved a realized price of $4,321. Jack Nicklaus' first of a record six Masters Tournament wins came in 1963 and made this badge famous and highly desired. Jack Nicklaus claimed victory by single stroke over Tony Lema at the 1963 Masters Tournament. This also marked Gene Sarazen's last time to make the cut at Augusta, not to mention Horton Smith's final Masters appearance. This deep red badge is almost as clean as they get and the first we have offered of 2024. Jack's first, 1963, is the series badge that we continuously have collectors pining for each on an auction-by-auction basis and why shouldn't it?

2. During extended bidding, you may only bid on items you PREVIOUSLY placed a bid on.
3. Lots with only ONE or NO BIDS at the time of auction close will close at 10pm ET
