Paging through this binder from The Sargent Family Collection, with Jack's name
in white lettering on the label below "1963 Ryder Cup Matches - East Lake Country Club - Atlanta Georgia" centered on the front cover, the grouping of photos will give you a tangible eye-witness account of the 1963 biennial international matches at Bobby Jones' home club from the lens of an insider that captured the entirety of the week from start to finish. The binder is dominated, however, with well preserved candid and posed photographs of Sargent with friends and players including the victorious United States team of course. These black and white photos tell the story of Jack Sargent's experience, now shared by the family for the first time in over 50 years. As far as the match results themselves, Arnold Palmer in his first Ryder Cup action debuted in style as playing Captain leading his team to the second-largest victory margin in Ryder Cup history 23 to 9.
