2018 December Memorabilia & Merchandise Auction
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 12/16/2018
1964 British Open Champ Tony Lema (D-1966) Signed Golf Ball-First One We Have Had! JSA ALOA
This lot features a ProStaff 4 logo golf ball signed by Tony Lema. He won 12 times on the PGA Tour, including the 1964 British Open where he beat Jack Nicklaus by five strokes. Tony Lema's career and life were cut short following the 1966 PGA Championship in Akron in a fatal plane crash. James Spence Authentication (JSA) has reviewed this signature, and their auction house letter of authenticity will come to the fortunate winner of this seldom seen signed golf ball. This is the first signed golf ball from Lema which we have had the privilege auctioning over our ten plus years in business. The scarcity of this item easily outweighs the somewhat light nature of the signature.
*All winning bidders who pay their balance in full by December 19th will have their items shipped by December 20th for all domestic and international shipments*
