The 'Black Knight' continued his blazing International career on the big stage with his sixth major at the 1972 PGA Championship held at Oakland Hills. His performance at Oakland hills snapped the four-year major slump and reminded golf fans why Player belonged in the famed exclusive Big Three. Here are a 1972 PGA Championship 16mm from that tournament in an orange protective casing to relive the weekend 50 years ago.
