1978 USSGA Shinnecock Hills Inv Tournament Tiffany & Co. Crystal Golf Trophy Plate
Opening in 1891 to men and women and erecting a clubhouse the following year, Shinnecock Hills on Long Island in New York was a founding member of the USGA and viewed as the first club in the United States to accomplish those feats over 130 years ago. Here is a 1978 awarded Tiffany & Co. plate for the United States Senior Golf Association tournament held at the club. Tiffany & Co. is well-known as a luxury American jewelry that has branched out into high-end personal accessories, fragrances, glassware and paperweights. Since 1940 their flagship store has been located in Manhattan, NY and site of the movie "Breakfast at Tiffany's." 6"
