The engineers and construction company used these maps to best position the CBS camera towers for the millions Masters Tournament television viewers. The 'Foundation Plans and Details' blueprint is dated September 30th, 1980. There are five total pages bound together, with the 9th and 18th greens on the first page below "Augusta National Golf Club" among other pieces of pertinent information for the project. In the 'General Notes' are listed 1-5 and include "Concrete shall have a minimum 28-day compressive strength of 3,000 psi, a minimum cement content of 5.5 bags per yard and a maximum slump of 3 to 4 inches." This prepared the club for the 1981 Masters Tournament and time being. This is a set of blueprints that deserve inclusion to your Masters collection.
