1982 Pine Valley Golf Club 'A Chronicle' Book Signed by Warner Shelly & Ernest Ransome
This lot offers a privately printed, and usually only available to members of Pine Valley, copy of "Pine Valley Golf Club: A Chronicle" by Warner Shelley. Shelley was a founding member and participant in the club's first game, who better to write a book on the subject? Shelly signed and inscribed the book as follows:
"To a good friend and fine golfer
John Capers
Warner Shelly
May 1983"
Ernest Ransome was the club president of Pine Valley from 1977-1988 and signed and inscribed the book as well as follows:
"To John Capers
With best wishes
Ernest Ransome
Excellent condition in this hard to come by book.
