1991 US Open Hazeltine Artist Proof #1/85 Signed & Numbered
Hazeltine National in Minnesota is one of Robert Trent Jones's most famous courses designs, his son Rees tweaked the course to get it ready for the 1991 U.S Open which was dramatically won by Payne Stewart. Linda Hartough the acclaimed golf artist who has been commissioned by both the Augusta National and the United States Golf Association gifted this much desired Artist Proof #1 of her Hazeltine work to its course architect Trent Jones. Hartough's work which she has hand numbered (A P 1/85) and signed "Linda Hartough" in pencil depicts the 16th hole at Hazeltine National Golf Club
The dimensions of this Hartough stunner(her 2nd commissioned work by the U.S.G.A.) are framed: 38 1/2" x 29"
