1991 US Open Champ Bag Payne Stewart Wilson Fire Stick
In bright white lettering across the large pocket of this jet black Wilson Firestick bag is "Payne Stewart - 1991 US Open Champion." The title was the newest accolade on his already impressive resume that consisted of the 1989 PGA Championship that he took at Kemper Lakes just outside of Chicago, Illinois. 'ULTRA' is written in matching white, large capital letters up both sides of the bag for the Wilson equipment golfer. Stewart notably used a 'Fire Stick' graphite shaft on his driver during this time, also written on the sides of this bag. The 1991 U.S. Open was the 91st U.S. Open, held June 13–17 at Hazeltine National Golf Club in Chaska, Minnesota, a suburb southwest of Minneapolis. Payne Stewart defeated 1987 champion Scott Simpson in an 18-hole Monday playoff to win the first of his two U.S. Open titles. This eye catching piece will be a nice addition to any Payne Stewart or bag collection.

All items that have received multiple bids in the auction will remain open until no items have received a bid within a 15-minute time period (at 10pm ET, the countdown clock will be adjusted to a 5 minute interval). Place your bids now!
1. You must place your initial bids BEFORE extended bidding begins to bid on the item in extended bidding
2. During extended bidding, you are allowed to bid only on items you PREVIOUSLY placed a bid on.
3. All lots that are active in extended bidding will close at the same time, and those with only ONE or NO BIDS will close at 9pm ET
**If extended bidding goes pass midnight ET, The Golf Auction reserves the right to close the auction at any time. We recommend bidders place their maximum bids prior to that time. Thank you**
