1995 British Open ACTUAL 18th Hole FLAG from St. Andrews from Caddy GREG RITA

Here we have the actual 18th hole flag from John Daly's British Open victory at St Andrews in 1995. This flag was purchased from Greg Rita's estate (John Daly's caddy at the Open in '95), and has remained in a prominent collection since then. Greg was a long time caddy on the Tour and frequent consignor to The Golf Auction. As is the long standing tradition in golf, it is the caddies privilege to claim the 18th hole flag following his player's Championship. With the extreme significance which these items carry to the participants it is very rare to obtain the 18th hole flag from a Major much less a multi time Major champion and fan favorite like John Daly. Rita being a long time collector/caddy on tour understood completely what Daly's winning the British Open meant and he rightfully claimed the 18th hole flag, a "Highlight" of his career. This 18th hole flag displaying appropriate Open colors and markings shows the consistent minor wear from its attachment and also some areas of dirt staining, these evidences of use, contribute greatly to the significance of this Rita's spoils of victory. Flag has also been signed in blue sharpie by Daly with inscription "124th open champ 1995".
