1996 Las Vegas Invitational Contestant Badge/Clip - Tiger's First Pro Win - Rare
Our consignor was a contestant in this 1996 event. Little did he know that the fairways and greens he played at the Las Vegas Invitational would become so historically significant in the history of golf. For when the last putt dropped on Sunday, it was Tiger Woods who stood victorious with a playoff win over Davis Love. This was the first PGA win for the 21 year old Tiger. Offered here is the contestants money clip from Tigers first PGA win. It is appropriate that there is a star on the front of this money clip, as it was from here that the star that was Tiger rose. Top unblemished condition in original box it was presented in, the only example we have seen like it.

AUCTION CLOSING RULES:
Place your bids NOW, don’t wait until the last minute. The auction will close beginning at 10:00pm ET Sunday, June 18th. You must agree to the terms BEFORE confirming your initial bid. During extended bidding, each lot will have its own 30-minute countdown clock. The clock will extend 30-minutes from the time of the most recently placed bid for that lot. If no bids are placed on that lot for a 30-minute period, the lot will close. Place your bids now!
1. Place your initial bids BEFORE 10pm ET in order to bid on the item in extended bidding
2. During extended bidding, you may bid only on items you PREVIOUSLY placed a bid on.
3. Lots with only ONE or NO BIDS will close at 10pm ET
Extended bidding starts at 10pm ET, and each lot will begin closing with its own 30-minute countdown timer. Lots without a bid placed during extended bidding will close at 10:30pm ET. We recommend you place your maximum bid(s) prior to that time. Thank you
