1998 Tiger Woods Florida Sports Hall of Fame People's Choice Award Professional Male Athlete of the Year Trophy
Showcased in this lot is Tiger Woods' 1998 Florida Sports Hall of Fame Male Athlete of the Year trophy in 1998 - a unique opportunity to acquire an award produced for Tiger Woods. Tiger was recognized as the recipient alongside the then University of Central Florida's Daunte Culpepper and two female winners in Lake City Orlando, Florida on February 20, 1998 - much of it being for Tiger's 1997 accolades since the last vote including his first Masters victory.
"(Tiger) Woods, who lives in Orange County's Isleworth community, received 4,468 votes. Last season, Woods also captured the titles at the Mercedes Championships, Masters Tournament, GTE Byron Nelson Classic and the Motorola Western Open," stated the Orlando Sentinel in the following day's paper.
Centered on the trophy boasting eight clear Lucite standing cylinders is the three-star Florida Sports Hall of Fame red, blue and gold-tone logo just above 'People's Choice Awards Professional Male Athlete Of The Year Tiger Woods' clear stand on a black base. The Florida Sports Hall of Fame was founded in 1958 by the Florida Sports Writers Association recognizing athletes and fitness excellence across all of sport in the state. This is an incredibly unique situation in which a Tiger Woods trophy will find its way to the winning bidder's trophy case. 13 3/4" x 8 " x 8"

Each lot has its own 30 minute countdown clock during extended bidding. The clock will extend 30-minutes from the time of the most recently placed bid for that lot. If no bids are placed on that lot during a 30-minute period, the lot will close. Place your bids now!
1. Place your initial bids BEFORE 10pm ET in order to bid on the item in extended bidding
2. During extended bidding, you may bid only on items you PREVIOUSLY placed a bid on.
3. Lots with only ONE or NO BIDS will close at 10pm ET
Extended bidding starts at 10pm ET, and each lot will begin closing with its own 30-minute countdown timer. Lots without a bid placed during extended bidding will close at 10:30pm ET. We recommend you place your maximum bid(s) prior to that time. Thank you
