Augusta National Vintage Wool Hat with Leather Band - Rare
Finding a vintage wool,earliest of early,Augusta National hat such as this can be a tall task, as it represents one of the first hats offered by the Augusta National to its elite membership. Imagine Bill Dudley, the first professional at the Augusta National, taking a chance and trying these out ordering a dozen of the beauties for his members. One thing is for sure they were a hit, and he had to order another dozen of the same hats in short time. These are Augusta National hats, as in exclusive availability to members, not like Masters merchandise which is available over the week of the tournament to general patrons. We have offered many hats from Augusta National, from Member limited editions, to actual caddy worn examples. This however is the most unique, and is the first of its kind we have had the opportunity to present to you.Never seen before by our Augusta National merchandise experts, and most likely will never be seen again.
