Alister Mackenzie Facsimile Signed Titirangi Golf Club Course Layout/Design Map Framed

Of high production value, on textured board, is this course designer Alister MacKenzie Titirangi Golf Club display with facsimile printed MacKenzie signature just below his depiction, his original notes and hole yardages accompanying his immensely detailed course layout of all 18. In color around it are modernized illustration of each of those holes from a slightly different perspective. Resulting in maximum eye appeal, it is matted in black and stone grey surrounded by a complimenting matte grey frame. The New Zealand course remains a marquee golfing destination today. This reads: "Conceived in 1914, Titirangi was privileged to in 1926 to obtain the services of Dr. Alister MacKenzie to redesign the course. Dr. MacKenzie, designer of Augusta National, Royal Melbourne, Cypress Point, and many other outstanding golf courses throughout the world, liked what he saw. The ground was 'exceptionally well adapted for golf, undulating, without being hilly.' Today the MacKenzie touch has left Titirangi members with a golf course offering interest, variety and the subtle cunning of one of the Great Masters of golf course design. Always a pleasure to play, always a challenge, set amongst beautiful surroundings of native bush and exotic tress. Titirangi is in Maori 'The Fringe of Heaven." 39" x 30"
