Anderson Anstruther Concave Face Niblick with H.H. Hutchison Stamp
James Anderson passed away in 1895, leaving his son Alex to run the family clubmaking business in Anstruther. The Anderson family had been iron mongers since the mid 1800's, using a cleekmark of "Anderson" within a circle. Alex changed the cleekmark to feature the arrow in 1905. Offered here is concave faced niblick featuring the arrow cleekmark. It measures 37" to the heel and comes in great condition. The back is also stamped "33 H. H. Hutchison."
