Annika Sorenstam 1995 US Open Winner Bobby Grace Gold Plated Putter - 1st Major Win

Annika's major breakthrough came in only her second professional season, and on LPGA's grandest stage - the USGA's U.S. Women's Open. The sophomore campaign filled the trophy case with some of the finest, winning the Player of the Year and Vare Trophy only a year after her Rookie of the Year honor. She topped the European Tour and LPGA Tour money lists, a feat unimaginable prior to 1995. This tiered mallet putter was produced by Bobby with the same specifications as Annika's that day.

Well respected putter manufacturer Bobby Grace produced two gold plated putters to commemorate each professional win using a ‘Bobby Grace’ putter. These would be the same make and model that the tour pro won the engraved tournament with. One of the two copies would be given to that tour player and the other was kept in the Bobby Grace “vault” in similar fashion to the PING and Scotty Cameron gold putter programs.
