The international matches themselves were significant, as Arnold Palmer in his first Ryder Cup action debuted in style as playing Captain leading his team to the second-largest victory margin in Ryder Cup history. Bobby Jones' East Lake Country club in Atlanta, Georgia would play host venue, as the United States defended home turf admirably. Here is a Bill Mark stamped photo with Arnold Palmer and the rest of the United States team.
