Arnold Palmer Cat's Paw Advertising 'Amazing New MIRA-GRIP' Poster
The most both recognizable and relatable athlete for golf fans in the 1960's and 1970's was none other than four-time Masters and seven-time major winner Arnold Palmer who exhibited grit, hard work and a smile for each fan and member of 'Arnie's Army.' Vibrant green and orange give this poster great eye appeal, commanding attention from the viewer and prospective customer from a great distance back. Arnold is depicted in black and white in a full shot on the left side, holding his driver and taking a look at the course. The poster quotes Arnold Palmer "Amazing new Mira-grip soles give me sure-footed comfort on or off the course." The shoes Arnie endorsed in this poster were from the manufacturer "Cat's Paw," who catered to the subjects demographic for those looking for "golf, casual or utility shoes." This poster was used and has some wear on the bottom edge. 28" x 14"
