Arnold Palmer Signed 1972 Job Reference Letter For Patty Aikens
"Personally, she has been part of the family and I will be happy to do whatever I can to help her achieve her goals and will be glad to answer any questions you might have," Arnold Palmer wrote glowingly about Patty in this letter. Palmer's first secretary Patty Aikens went to work for the Atlanta Braves in 1972, where she became close with Hank Aaron, along with the baseball team and its associates. Here is Aikens' December 1, 1972 reference letter on Arnold Palmer's personal letterhead from her famous boss. Arnie had nothing but good things to say about Patty, his right hand for almost a decade.
